Open Banking Platform - Thought Leadership

With the new legislation pending next year, Open Banking is high on the agenda for Australian financial institutions. It goes beyond the regulatory requirement. Open Banking strategies, operational changes, culture and skill evolution – and technological change – to thrive in the Open World will drive the need for banking executives to rethink their strategies, to expand partnerships and act either as a platform provider or a provider to platforms.

This integrated campaign is aimed at our banking accounts to highlight how Oracle supports our clients with technology that enables partnerships and deep data insights in the new era of open platforms.

For engagement with your clients, you can leverage a number of newly created assets, such as a "Back to the Customer..." whitepaper, a short video and Oracle capabilities paper.

Sibos Executive Dinner

Sibos is a global banking conference, this year running on 22-25 October in Sydney. Every year it attracts top banking executives from around the globe. The executive dinner will be held on the 23rd of October, during the conference as a joint activity between ABM and FSGBU, Oracle’s financial services team who have an existing sponsorship with the Sibos conference.

The theme of the dinner is Changing Banking Landscape with the Platform Based Future and the purpose of the dinner is to strengthen Oracle’s position and relevance to the leadership teams within our target banks. The dinner will be closely aligned to the leading themes at Sibos 2018, which are about re-engineering business models, growth from platform-based business, developing new partnerships with clients and fellow service providers as they leverage new technologies. It will allow us to position Oracle as a key technology partner for banks looking to address the changing environment of open banking and aggregated platforms. The audience will be approximately 30 banking executives from Australian and JPAC banks of the C-suite, eGM and heads of departments level.
