Oracle Experience at SailGP - Sydney

SailGP is launching as an annual, global sport series and features bold, cutting-edge technology and awe-inspiring athleticism. The inshore racing series.

Starting in Sydney and will take place in some of the most iconic harbours around the globe, culminating in a $1 million winner-takes-all match race in Marseille. The grand prix championship features the world’s best sailing teams from six rival nations – Australia, China, France, Great Britain, Japan and the United States – battling it out on identical supercharged F50 catamarans, powered by Oracle technology, resulting in intensely close and electrifying racing at speeds exceeding 50 knots – close to 100km/h.

Oracle ANZ are inviting 50 customers and their guests to be part of this one-of-a-kind opportunity to join Oracle for an exclusive day of hospitality and sailing on Sydney Harbour for the 1st series of races in the inaugural season of SailGP. The day includes:

  • Base Tour at Cockatoo Island
  • Lunch on Sydney Harbour
  • Access to the exclusive SailGP VIP Lounge at the Sydney Royal Yacht Squadron
  • On water race viewing
  • SailGP Team appearances

Your Tomorrow, Today - Campaign Update

The New Year now brings with it a refreshed burst of awareness advertising featuring the two new creatives – World Bees (India) and Certified Origins Olive Oil (Portugal). The media strategy has been designed to continuously engage our target market during their downtime i.e, commute to work. Look out for this new creative in the same channels across Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra : Office Towers, Tram Shelters, Roadside Billboards and Buses.

The New Year also brings with it the start of our digital demand generation campaigns across JAPAC. The media strategy has been designed to continuously engage customers at the right times, with the right message. This next phase of digital execution will now cover all the countries in JAPAC with targeted messages for respective personas. The programs and audience they cover are outlined below:

Up Next > Program 7: Targeting the Developer community in Q3 we will focus our efforts around driving awareness, trials and engagement around OOW. Starting Q4, the developer community will receive a dedicated YTT track. Launch schedule is 15th January 2019.

The campaign covers a host of always-on tactics that propels our prospects to continuously engage with us. Furthermore, our consistent message across the multitude of platforms available to us is aimed at increasing brand awareness, cultivating customer relationships and ultimately increasing sales.

Your Tomorrow, Today - Digital Awareness

From December , YTT Digital Awareness advertising kicks off with social advertising across Facebook and Linked In channels, followed by a ramped up spend in late Jan / Feb that includes Digital Display and On Line Video Advertising. Stay tuned for refreshed customer stories to be rotated from January onwards.

Your Tomorrow, Today Campaign

In October we launched the "Your Tomorrow, Today", campaign in three cities across ANZ, the first integrated marketing campaign that we have ever run across EMEA and JAPAC.

This campaign aims to position Oracle as the Cloud provider that every business should be talking to!

We have started to rollout an “out of home” or outdoor media strategy that aims to own the premium downtime of our target audience on their commute into the office, this incorporates outdoor billboards, tram and bus shelter adverts, Lift and Lobby advertising in addition to bus and train placements.

In mid November there will be a number of key new site home page takeovers featuring the Oracle “Your Tomorrow Today” campaign message, more on this closer to the date.

As of December 1, we will be activating our digital advertising campaign to layer over the outdoor strategy. This will involve new video advertisements, featuring innovative Oracle Cloud customers with inspiring stories, and demand generation assets covering both Tech and Apps. The media strategy is designed to continuously engage customers at the right times, with the right message throughout FY19.

The program will continue to gather momentum over the course of the coming 2 months, and it will reactivate later in Q3 with a set of refreshed customer stories and assets.
